Haluco en Interfrukt ondertekenen overeenkomst data-exchange gebaseerd op GS1-standaard.
Op donderdag 4 februari tijdens de Fruit Logistica te Berlijn ondertekenden A. Hauana van Interfrukt en J. Hensen van Haluco BV een overeekomst aangaande het electronisch uitwisselen van informatie.Het betreft een overeenkomst gesloten in het kader van het eSPORING, The Norwegian National Food Traceability Project. In dit project stimuleert de Noorse overheid foodindustrie breed de implementatie van traceability gebaseerd op internationale standaards.

Het project wordt in Noorwegen gecoordineerd door Norges Frukt- og Gronnsaksgrossisters Forbund (Noorse trade & wholesalers association). Frug I Com werkt met hun samen binnen International Federation for Fresh Produce (IFPS). Toen de vraag kwam naar een gezamenlijke pilot waren de contacten dan ook gauw gelegd. De Frug I Com Support Desk ondersteund Haluco bij de pilot met kennis over standaards en de implementatie ervan.

In de overeenkomst staat o.a.:
"Haluco and Interfrukt wish to optimize their close, mutual collaboration and the mentioned exchange of data through electronic data exchange. Both parties are convinced that electronic data exchange only has a future if as many parties in the PVF sector as possible make use of it."

"It is for that reason that both parties feel that the most important condition for the data exchange that Haliuco BV and Interfrukt wish to share, is that standard that can be apllied internationally is utilised."

"Therefor Haluco BV and Interfrukt have chosen the GS1 standard for their data exchange."
